Wish I had read the reviews before signing up with this company. One star for one nice customer service agent. They cancelled my car insurance policy after I filed my one and only claim for a hit and run at which time my car was parked. When I called to get an understanding, they simply said there is nothing they can do even after reviewing the reason for non-renewal. I had everything bundled with them, including my homeowners insurance. I cancelled all policies due to lack of trust.

So this company is definitely into shading dealings. They were first going to increase my rate over a $100 and not tell me. I was in no wrecks or collisions and never filed a claim. When I went to cancel the policy they said it was taken care of. Two days later it still comes out. I was on the phone with their billing team for about 10 hours I had to call about 15 times just to get a refund issued. They said because we didn't cancel before the policy ended because of that two day delay they wont give a full refund. I asked for at least a reversal to make it same day so I didn't have overdraft fees and they have no idea how to do anything besides issue an e-check. Had a total loss in 2020 so I dropped my ins policy with them. 8 month’s later when I got a car, my premiums triple because I didn’t have continuous coverage for the past 12 months. Fast forward to,Oct 23, girl hit us from behind with no ins. Liberty mutual totaled the car, paid the bank off, gave me the balance after charging me my deductible claiming that any money they get from her, the firstn $1000 would come to me. Got a policy to keep my ins instant so as not to repeat 2020. Found out today after being transferred 7 times that the policy was only good for 60 days and would be cancelled after they charge me for a year’s premiums. I've been a faithful customer to Liverty for a couple years now. Never missed or made a late payment. No accidents or claims. Yet they send me a notice to terminate my policy because I didn't fill out a survey?! I thought surveys were optional. Absolutely ridiculous!

I got a message from my bank that I am eligible for a discounted insurance quote from Liberty Mutual. The funny thing was my wife and I were just discussing how we thought our rates were high with Geico, so I took the bait and requested a quote. They said they could save me $2,700 which I thought was great since I only pay 1,900 a year, but what they meant was I would be saving 2700 off their standard rate of 6400 so I would be pay 3700 if I pay 2400 in advance, which mind you is 500 more then I pay for the whole year with Geico. These people have lost their minds and are trying to scam people.
