When I switched from Farmers to All-State around 6 years ago, I told them to compare apples to apples and quote it. Mind that I am 57 years old and since I got a license at 15, I have only filed one claim. I traveled 500 miles home from where I went on vacation yesterday and had a rock hit my windshield so I called to see how I needed to handle it with the $100 windshield replacement thing. Her reply was we don't offer that. Huh...I guess it wasn't apples to apples afterall. I then told her that I was going to shop for new insurance and her reply was basically ok, whatever.
