I don't know if it's just the particular agent I have or not, but he's not been particularly responsive or helpful. I often have to send several emails just to get a response and that's not really what you want in an insurance agent. Based on the other reviews, I suspect I just don't have their best agent right now.

We've been with Lane Insurance for about 15 years for H.O., flood, auto, umbrella, etc. While we've had a hiccup or two over years with response times, I think that with Jennifer Demerritt as our agent, we're totally on track. With Florida insurance rates through the roof, Jen has been great about responding to our occasional requests to reach out and see if there's a better package, a smarter deal. In fact, this year I took it upon myself to "shop it out" with 3 other highly recommended agencies and ended up right back at Lane. I like that fact that all our policies are "under one roof." It sure does simplify my life!
