Joseph Morales: Allstate Insurance

Had Allstate in Oyster Bay about 40 years, originally w Bob & Judy then Joseph. He is impossible to deal with, he doesn’t call back, doesn’t follow through on what he says he’ll do. Long story but he’s cost me $ and he’s not running anything near a good business. Just switched to Weissman - Allstate agent in Syosset

What's going on with these guys? I have been calling for over a week and not heard back from them. I have sent emails, called over the phone even walked up to the office. They have moved from 71 W Main Street and at the new address all you find is a closed door. No sign. No nothing. Stay away from Joseph Morales

I have been a long time client of Bob, and Judy Reimels, then with Mr. Morales. I understood Mr. Morales ran his business a little differently then what I was use to for many years with Bob, and Judy. Most recently I bought a new car, and transferred both my plates, and insurance 10 days ago. Although I received my temporary Insurance ID card from the dealership, I called Mr Morales to go over my policy, and to make sure of the switch of cars. Because I didnt hear back from Mr Morales I decided it was time to seek a new agent. Today I met with my new agent and was informed my new car was never put on my policy. I found out the usual process is Allstate when notified of a new car change sends the information to the clients agent who then does the proper paper work for the change in the p

Joseph didn’t call or email me back about reducing my policy and I’ve been one of his customers for a while now.

As with the other posted reviews this man is VERY difficult to get a hold of. I had been an Allstate flood insurance customer since 1998 with the Reimels who had been the previous Allstate brokers in that same office. Mr. Reimels was in the office daily during normal 9-5 business hours. I have not met this new broker. I did not even know someone new had taken over the business. Nothing came in the mail introducing himself that he had taken over. I spoke with him for the first time on the phone this past summer as I had a question. At the end of the summer I stopped by the office one week day during normal business hours to speak with him. I found the office closed. There was no support staff, secretary or receptionist.
