Jason Ahrendt - State Farm Insurance Agent

We’ve been with Jason Ahrendt State Farm since 2012 when we moved to Sioux Falls. We’ve since moved to Nebraska and have stayed with them as they provide great customer service. They’re always helpful and friendly when I call and anytime I’ve needed to get a claim started they’ve always been great and helpful. The corporate State Farm has sometimes been difficult to deal with but I have yet to find any corporate insurance office that is, but Jason and his team have been great.

Some of the staff is nice but Jan takes a long time to discuss things and she wasn't professional one day. Jason doesn't return phone calls. Jason lied and said I was'nt kind to the people in the office in which was a bold lie. I dont appreciate a business man lying! I will look for cheaper insurance!!

I've been with Jason Ahrendt State Farm for something like 20 years now. In 2011, I got REALLY sick, and had to start using my State Farm disability policy. It's been a very long and difficult journey. Every year like clockwork, when I have to fill out my paperwork, my payment is always missed. UNTIL THIS YEAR. The last couple of years, my agent, Jennifer Smetana, has told me repeatedly to give her the forms and let her file them for me. Like an idiot, I've continued to try to do it myself. I've even tried to turn it all in months in advance, thinking that would do the trick, only to find out that ANY forms I send STOP my payments in their tracks until EVERYTHING is completed for the year. I have not had to make any claims yet with Jason’s office, but when I bought my home in Sioux Falls, I surely didn’t quite know which agent to call, but was already was with State Farm, so I did just stay with them. I don’t know HOW I chose really but the gal I talked to that hit me set up was very nice and helpful and then last year when I bought another vehicle, I checked around and decided that bundling my Home and Auto would be the best deal and the folks here helped me do this and I feel I am paying a pretty good price for all of it and I am getting another discount at my renewal date, which is starting next month. I’ve been with this specific office for nearly 2 years now. They were extremely on top of responding to me for quotes, I was called pretty immediately and the process was incredibly easy. Every time I’ve called they’ve answered my questions, and helped me through a parking lot fender bender of which I wasn’t in the car. This office is awesome!
