I can't speak highly enough of Cameron Shunta of Janis-Shunta Insurance. We don't have insurance with Janis-Shunta, but we asked them to evaluate (and possibly replace) our long-standing policies with a large national insurance company. Cameron noted that we had some very competitive rates with our current insurer and he recommended that we stay there. He very ethically turned down our business and recommended that we not make any wholesale changes. He also recommended a few tweaks to our current policies so we would be better protected. Highly professional and ethical!

Cam as well as the team were super helpful and responsive when I needed help finding affordable coverage that worked perfect for my situation and even ran additional numbers for when I upgrade my vehicle this upcoming year. It was fast and easy to set up and I couldn’t be any happier with the coverage I received. Very personable and no salesy pitches to bundle with other coverages like the other companies I looked into. Highly recommend if you want a fair price for your vehicle and great customer service.

I recently switched car insurers from Nationwide to Auto Owners through Janis-Shunta and had an amazing experience with them! I worked with Renee, and she helped me through the entire process, including cancelling my old insurance so I didn't need to wait on hold. She was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and communicative throughout the process. She took the time to respond quickly to email inquiries, and call whenever needed to get things rolling quicker than through email. I am also very happy with the time Renee took to explain my coverage selections and alternative options so I was completely informed. Handicap wheelchair carrier was hit and turned on September 8th, 2025 in the Walmart parking lot, and my Ma (Irene) still hasn't heard anything for reimbursement. Smh Slow but great work.
