I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience warrants it. I reached out in good faith to get my company insured and was met with extremely poor communication and unprofessional behavior. Jason would not respond to my emails unless I copied his boss, and even then the responses were dismissive rather than helpful. Despite repeatedly saying he was “working on it,” there was no follow-through, no transparency, and no meaningful progress. When I attempted to clarify expectations or ask for updates, the response implied that I was the problem rather than addressing the lack of effort or communication. If you’re looking for a broker who is proactive, communicative, and genuinely invested in helping you secure coverage, this was not my experience here. I ultimately had to look elsewher

InterWest Insurance has been our broker for many years assisting us with GL & WC, and our Health Benefits. Their team is very easy to work with, always accessible, knowledgeable, and their number one priority is taking care of their customers. We are happy to be with InterWest Insurance.

We had a great experience with agent Debi Lancaster Cabell. She was professional and thorough. She went out of her way to help our company get new insurance.

If I could give them zero stars I would. There is a systemic problem with this broker. I’ve worked with both the commercial and residential side and have been dissatisfied on both sides. They don’t call you if there is issues with your insurance. They will let your coverage lapse and NEVER notify you. They don’t care about their clients. They will change your broker and not send any kind of notice so you don’t know who you are doing business with. This company will collect money and not do anything for you. RUN. RUN AWAY AND NEVER WORK WORK WITH THEM. I’ve spoken to “upper management” and their has been no change. I’m stuck with them on a couple policies until the renewal date and I’m literally counting the days. AWFUL!!

Our business has been with Placer insurance for 2 generations and close to 30 years and have multiple policies with them. Now when I call and email my account manager, I can not even get a response. We have never even shopped around our policies to other companies until now. Our account manager just completely neglected us.
