Idaho Farm Bureau Insurance

The absolute most awful insurance to ever have existed. I don’t know if it’s just this office or the entirety of Farm Bureau. They have never once successfully completed a document of ours without wrong information, over-billing, double-billing, listing entirely wrong people on the policy , suddenly dropping vehicles without notice, and countless other mistakes. When our agent left for college we weren’t notified until over half a year later we had a new agent who wouldn’t take calls at all. For any reason do not use the Sandpoint office if you choice this company.

I use this company for my home insurance and have found them responsive and helpful for all my inquiries. I had a really bad day that involved a fire AND a flood (that day can go suck eggs), and they did a great job of working with the contractors to assess the damage. Some of the process was slow (if not glacial), but the ultimate outcome was positive. I would use them for other insurance needs and recommend them. In the mean time, I'll try not to burn my house down... I should mention that I have an off-grid, solar-powered, straw-bale home, which requires a little special attention. They were great at accommodating this without inflating the price or making the process more complicated.

Since switching to these folks, the term insurance has been reinvented in my mind! From top of the line customer service to surprisingly affordable plans, this company focusing on the customer, not the profit!

Nice folks. About the only insurance co. that will give you coverage if you live in a fire zone.

I have been doing business with Farm Bureau for 35 years + I like the way they do business and they are very friendly.
