I had been with my previous company for several years. Out of the blue, I get my new invoice and it increased. I contacted them to see why and they said, 'well, we haven't raised your rates in a while; it's common to do this'. I said I had never heard of such a thing and would be shopping for new coverage. They said that I would encounter this at ANY company. I contacted Hancock Insurance; working with Brant. I explained what had happened and he assured me that was not their practice. Shari is great to work with. She got us the coverages we needed, when we needed them and saved us money. When we moved Shari went through what we needed with us, "bundled" our insurance, had us a quote and had us insured while other "reps" were still trying to upsell us on what we "needed" to buy. We no longer live in the area but Shari is still our "insurance lady".

I had home insurance with hancock with mechanical breakdown coverage for furnace and air conditioner. I submitted a claim for my air conditioner only to find out I was not covered . Hancocks did not seem to know why. They should have been able to tell me right away if I was covered or not. by the way the insurance company was PEKIN. I was given the run around for 4 weeks before I finally found out PEKIN was not going to honor my policy that I had after paying for the year . The insurance company had updated there policy excluding the coverage I had. Hancocks failed to notify me about the changes. In other words they are selling policies that you cant use. What a SCAM after already having my money that I paid for a years coverage. I Immediately canceled my insurance policy's with them car
