I experienced significant issues with Matt during my first car insurance purchase. Despite multiple requests to renew my coverage, he allowed my policy to lapse without notifying me. Initially, he quoted $850 for six months, but after the lapse, I received a quote from Progressive directly for $540 for the same coverage. Previously, he had sold me a six-month policy for over $800, which now seems excessively high. This lack of communication and the drastic differences in quotes make me question Matt’s integrity and suggest that I was probably overcharged. While I understand commission might be a factor, these practices are deeply concerning.
