I have found this insurance company to be a complete waste of time and money. Last year, I submitted a claim, and they informed me that they need to determine whether the claim is warranted for a refund. This is unacceptable, especially considering I pay for this insurance in case of emergencies or issues. The entire review process takes approximately a month, during which I am left in limbo without any resolution or support. If there were an option to give zero stars, I would strongly consider it. The lack of efficiency, transparency, and customer care is utterly unacceptable. I would strongly advise others to think twice before trusting this company with their coverage.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Generali. I have had two separate claims open since 2024 arising from two different Airbnb-related incidents, and Generali has repeatedly delayed meaningful resolution. First incident: August 7, 2024 — the claim was opened in August 2024. Second incident: September 26, 2024 — a ceiling collapse occurred at an Airbnb property. The delays have been so prolonged that the matter ultimately escalated to federal court, and Generali assigned defense counsel Jordan Lewis to handle the case. The claims were originally opened by Generali’s adjuster, Tracy Quist, and despite the length of time these claims have been pending, there is still no timely resolution. This is my worst experience with submitting a claim. They are happy to take your money but when you file a claim with all the documents and they will still deny it. I had to call several times before they said it will be processed and then they don’t mail you the check bec the platform to get your money doesn’t work, unbelievable spend more time!!! Very scammy!! They just don’t want to pay!!

This whole experience felt incredibly shady and fraudulent. I submitted everything they asked for, got multiple emails saying documents were missing (they weren’t), then a rep called and confirmed everything was on file. The very next morning I get another email asking for the same documents — and by the afternoon they closed my claim with a $380 payment that doesn’t even come close to what was submitted. No explanation. No breakdown. No call back. Just closed. The entire process feels like a scam and fraudulent, and honestly makes you question the integrity of how claims are handled.

Horrible company!!!! I had to cancel my trip, one month before the actual trip date, the cruise company happily assisted us with no penalty. Generali told me that even though the trip was cancelled, they will not refund me. If you cancel car insurance you get refunded for unused days, we clearly have no use for insurance if there is no longer a trip, I asked to speak to a supervisor and the rude Agent hung up the phone on me.
