Unprofessional and Subtly Racist – A Terrible Experience with Gateway Insurance (TLTR) I would strongly advise against using Gateway Insurance. From the start, the customer service was disappointing. I had multiple issues with my policy and was bounced around from agent to agent without any clear resolution. It was frustrating enough, but what made it worse was the subtle racism I experienced. On more than one occasion, I noticed that the way I was treated over the phone was noticeably different from how other customers were handled—more dismissive and less patient when I asked for clarification or assistance. Additionally, there were unexpected fees added to my policy that were never explained upfront, and when I asked about them, I was met with vague responses and no real effort to res

So pre-covid they were great to work with. After covid not so much. My office was sent an email after 5pm stating our gl policy had to be taken care of by the end of that business day. I tried calling for the next week and nothing. No answer and no call back. So we sent an email stating there was not any attachments with her email even though it said it had to be signed. After another 3 days went by I sent another email. Still nothing. After having to put everything on hold and not able to work I sent yet another email. That is when Christina said she had to start the whole process over. I waited 3 more days and still nothing. So I got upset and wrote a stern email about my policy. She told me to find someone else that she was tired of my account. So I called a gateway near me. They got me
