When a car ran a red light, totalled my car, and Hartford nsurance raised MY rates, my lawyer (Joe Higuero Esq.) told me to call Gary Blackburn at State Farm. Gary reviewed my condo insurance, learned I was charged as single family home, and he got me an $800 refund from Hartford. That was in 2010-2011. Earlier this month, I totalled my car. Thankfully no one else was involved, I wasn't injured and there was no property damage. There was no judgement and only kindness given to me, a senior citizen. Gary Blackburn has been our family's insurance agent for years. Gary is extremely knowledgeable on insurance questions. He and his State Farm staff give excellent service. When we have had to make a claim, they send us to the best authorized shops for an estimate and we get a check quickly. It is everyone's dream to have such quality service. My mother is an elderly woman who lost her husband of 64 years about 4 years ago. We have our home insurance through Gary and State Farm. We had a pipe burst back in August of 2020 and were told that they thought it was a slow leak. They hired a demolition crew to look for said mold to deny our claim. They did not find mold but the claims adjustor told us that they could not pay for every leak and they had no proof that the pipe burst. Denying our claim.
