First American Title Insurance Company

Horrible experience. They are so over the top paranoid about Covid that apparently they have totally lost site of the fact that I am their customer. For our closing my husband wanted to accompany me to the room for signing of the papers. He is the financial guy in our family. They said the office manager would have to approve it. She apparently said no because we had to go down to the lobby of the building and sign things there. How unprofessional! I’d advise using a title company who appreciates your business and treats you accordingly.

Avoid visiting this location at all costs, use wire, FedEx or any other tool, but not go there in person. The gate keeper WILL make you feel like an insect. P.S. I closed thousands of Real Estate transactions over the last 20 years, but wrote an review on the title company only once.

If I had the choice, I would not have chosen 1st American. They made me wait almost 20 minutes before they acknowledge my presence in their office & the only people there were for my closing! They were very uncommunicative & made me wait 30+ minutes after I signed all the paperwork without explaining why.

Great title company and great office. I have used First American Title for over 20 years and their quality has consistently increased over time. Great staff and great company.
