Farmers Insurance - James Davis

They were somewhat helpful the first year, but when my home was declined for renewal they offered no guidance for next steps. Try SafeCo insurance through Hippo, they guys were super helpful, something you would expect from your local agents, but unfortunately this was not the case with this agency. Also had luck with Country Financial but ultimately went with SafeCo. Hope this helps someone out there struggling to find home insurance!

Jim Davis is very helpful and knowledgeable about WAY more than just car insurance. Talk to him before you make other insurance plans! (BEFORE you buy your home - he can tell you if your home is even eligible for insurance under the current law requirements) He can save you some headaches!!

DO NOT TRUST this office. I was with this agent since 2019. If you aren’t aware, the State of Washington passed a new law in 08/2021 prohibiting insurance providers to set customer policy premium rates based on credit scores. You should see a significant price drop from this even if you have good credit. If you didn’t see a price reduction last renewal, I would advise you to look into it. Especially with THIS office. I am writing my review based on this office breaking my trust. My insurance plan renewed with its first payment being due 07/29/21. This insurance office, as like every other insurance office, knew that bill SB5010 had been proposed and passed in 03/2021 doing away with insurance premiums based on credit worthiness. Thought they were nice until our account got messed up two years in a row and we finally switched. The new company got things straightened out immediately. Still having issues with farmers after switching because of cancelation. Go to country financial better coverage and better customer service.

Great people here. Mr. Davis and the staff here are very courteous; knowledgeable; and kind. Always have been available to answer questions and give us the best coverage at the best rate. Highly recommend being insured with these guys .
