Farmers Insurance - David Jaramillo

I've been with them for a bit over 5 years now, and I have no complaints. David is great about knocking my rates to lowest he can get them to, and he's had to put in some effort with the rates raising as they have been. Kristie is always helpful and polite, and even Rusty (the office cat) is welcoming and loving. Love when I have to go into the office! It sucks that the rates out here are so high, but the Jaramillos do their best to get you the best rates and support you with any questions you may have. I much prefer that to the insurance companies that won't actually cover if you ever have an accident (I've had those companies in the past).

WARNING. Absolutely the worst agent ever. Bumped up my rates until I was paying $3,000 annually. State farm got me back to $800 annually with bigger payout and better coverage. Geico quoted 860 for the exact same policy numbers. which is what I started at with this guy. Shop around. and watch your statements!!!

The best insurance agent I've ever had. For 5 years I've had renters, auto and life insurance through them and they go out of their way to personalize my experience. It's like talking to friends. I've had no issues with them at all. Anyone who does must have personal problems as they go out of their way to help people. When my apartments were being difficult over my renters insurance, they spent hours working things out so my apartments were happy.

They have a very disrespectful & spiteful staff. I was on my parents insurance with him until I bought my own car & wanted to open my own policy. He quoted me over $300 for my 1 car. He told me it was because I was so young & I wasn’t going to find a better price than that...so I called around and was quoted $122 with 2x as much coverage by another insurance agent. So I called back to cancel my policy with his agency and his daughter was very rude, she told me in a very disrespectful way that I was joining an agency that wasn’t looking out for my best interest (I love my new agent btw) After that they drew up a document for my parents policy that we ALL had to sign saying that they would not cover my parents cars if I WAS THE ONE DRIVING!! Lol but that’s not how insurance is supposed to wo
