I also have Esurance and plan on canceling once my claim is taken care of. They are the bottom of the bottom here. Adjusters and the incompetent management. You could better anywhere. The Worst!

UPDATE: They have now stolen $380 from me for charges they can't even provide evidence for. PLEASE DO NOT USE ESURANCE. LONG STORY SHORT, DONT USE ESURCANCE!!! The ABSOLUTE worst insurance company ever. They removed part of my coverage on a leased vehicle because of a "missing" inspection that was no longer required by state law and then never reinstated the coverage after I had the inspection done. Which as stated on their documentation they would do. This meant I was driving a leased vehicle without proper insurance for almost 2 years. Only to find out my coverage was missing when I went to file a claim finally. Esurance was no help at all at any step along the way and even tried to blame the entire thing on me. I had Esurance in 2021, full insurance for 2 vehicles. My car was hit while parked on the street, I contacted Esurance for help in getting a payment from the other party. It took 3 to 4 weeks before someone called me back, they blamed covid for the delay. They did nothing for me…..but reported the claim I made twice in my LexisNexis report. So now it looks like I made 2x claims on the same day. They also provided an address that I’ve never lived at in Florida. In 2025 I filed a BBB complaint to correct the issues. They responded telling me to email them through the Esurance website. I did, it said they’ll try & respond within 24hrs after I sent the email. That was 2 weeks ago! Esurance was an inexpensive auto insurance that is underwritten by Allstate insurance. Sounds pretty solid. At the time, I had a used Volkswagen Jetta. My premium with loaded coverage was about $800 annually. I had no accidents, no tickets, and my car was parked in the street in urban San Diego. I moved to a community called Lake Elsinore. I had a garage and gated community. My premium jumped up. To $10,800. A ten grand increase on a high mileage 7 year old Volkswagen worth maybe $5,000. I called and spent an hour on the telephone asking why the ridiculous increase was on the premium. That was the premium for a habitual drunk driver who owns a new luxury vehicle. I was told it was because of my zip code. I changed insurance companies. It's a cash cow for Allstate. I stay way from that comp

Esurance is the worse company I've ever dealt with. They never returned phone calls or emails. This company does not have good service AT ALL. They literally sat on an approval of an estimate for my car repairs FOR A MONTH, and didn't return calls from me or my car shop. I feel like they must let AI do whatever it wants without any care for the impact on their customers. I do not recommend this company - not even for consideration - AT ALL!
