I’ve been a State Farm customer for my entire life and I come from my family who have been State Farm customers for generations. We were working through the Jane Beverly office in Tampa for over 30 years with no issues, until one day I was treated very rudely by one of their customer service reps over the phone, she couldn’t answer my question in a way I could understand and refused to let me speak to another representative, and then actually hung up on me! When I tried to call the office back, they would not answer the phone. I was calm and not aggressive in any way, so I couldn’t believe I was being treated this way. This review has taken me almost 40 years to write because most things like insurance goes under appreciated so I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to the company that takes the stress of “just in case” out of my life. State Farm has been my insurer for over 37 years and one of the reasons is because of the personal attention my agents have given me. After my initial agent Manny Castro passed I was heart broken because he was a dear friend as well as a true professional. Moving forward I had a lot of questions for my new agent Ernest Walker, most of which I never asked because I really didn’t need to. Amazing Customer Service!! Ivy you are Remarkable!! In today's business world trying to get a live person in person is close to impossible. I was able to sit down with Ivy face to face within a few hours notice to get the best rates on insurance. I spoke with 3 competitors. I've been using this agency since 2021, as a newly divorced aging female navigating a health crisis. Over the years, I've had special attention from Mariah and she has helped me immensely since I had another health crisis in 2023 which affected my cognitive abilities and capacity to handle my own affairs. Mariah has always been patient and kind, and extended special needs services to me, assisting with online payments and monthly reminders to keep my bill paid.
