I wouldn't have given them any stars if I didn't have to. Most of my reviews are positive so I wouldn't do this if it wasn't a warning for other people. I loved the company they bought out, but Eastern has no redeeming qualities. 1) I requested the page of my policy that stated that my storage unit was covered- they don't email things like that according to the person I talked to. 2) I had flood issues(on Plum Island) and they forwarded me to Homeowners- which has nothing to do with flood. That caused multiple issues. 3) I just requested the transfer paperwork to transfer my flood policy to the guy buying my house, and they wouldn't give me the paperwork unless the guy buying my house was getting his Homeowners insurance through them. Pleasant, helpful. Always a positive experience. The only "problem" is that they are successful and large. Not always easy to get someone on the phone on demand or super quick response, like you might in a smaller agency. Other than that they are great.

Buyer beware, live and learn, very very poor business
