I have been going back and forth for my insurance for years between the General and Progresive. I just assumed they were the cheapest because they don't usually have a dedicated agent who helps you in person. I just spoke to an agent here in Jacksonvile named Erica. She is super helpful, sweet, and easy to talk to. Best of all, she quoted me a price that is literally going to save me 1100 dollars from Progressive, and it's a couple of hundred less than the General. And she's local, so I can meet with her about my policy in person. I am very happy with this outcome, and so I am cancelling my current plan and happily joining Direct Auto in Jacksonville. I've used direct auto before and it was a bit insurance it's a little bit more pricey now for me. But for one of my friends it was cheaper with direct than it was 1 of the others.
