Delta Dental Insurance

I gotta say I'm with the other reviewers - Dental Dental does not seem to care about customer service at all. You can't find a phone number for them and when you do a secure message, they send a link that goes to register an account. I searched all over to find a message inbox on my web portal and no luck. I hope HR professionals see this and know to steer clear - your employees will not be happy.

Claim made in April by the dentist. Delta Dental said they sent the check to me instead of the dentist. I called mid June to let them know I never received the check. They said they would cancel the check and send another one. I called back at the end of July to let them know I still hadn't received the check. They said it has just been mailed June 19th and could take up to 3 weeks. Mid August and I still haven't received first or 2nd check so I call back to let them know and they say there is nothing else they can do but void and reissue another check. No option to bank transfer, over night the check or anything. They said I could file a grievance and it could take up to another 30 day and no way to expedite this. This is an unethical, shady insurance company and I would steal clear

Difficult to contact a live person and if you do they don't know anything and you get caught in the transfer loop. They took our initial payment, never sent any confirmation or paperwork. Got a letter of cancellation with zero explanation. I can't recommend them at all.

*** I encourage all people with complaints to file BBB complaints as well *** I am not surprised Delta Dental has such a poor rating. I also recently had an unacceptable "issue" with Dental Dental, and they would not do anything to fix it.

I have never waiting so long to speak to a representative regarding a claim. I called yesterday and their wait time was over 3 hours. I tried calling first thing this morning, the automated system says its a 10 mins wait. Here it is going on 45 mins I've been waiting to speak to someone. What is it? Only 3 people working there? Please! You guys have got to fix this!
