D. Francis Murphy Insurance Agency

I've been a customer of D.F. Murphy Insurance since 2020 and have always received excellent service. This week, I needed to change my garaging address with the RMV to correct which town was taxing me. Virginia Evans in your Harvard address did in two minutes what I hadn't accomplished in 20 minutes. Her help was quick, friendly and clear. I spent another two minutes following Virginia Evan's instructions and had my address changed and challenge addressed.

Very helpful and professional. Carried my home, auto, and MC policies for almost 30 years. They were wonderful to work with, Kerry Snow, Dennis Murphy are the best and always went the extra mile for me. Unfortunately I moved out of state, wish I could have taken them with me. Highly recommend!!!

We found out only after the Murphy insurance rep went to renew our home owners policy that it has been cancelled almost a year ago by Quincy Mutual. Apparently the bill and f/u cancellation from Quincy was not forwarded to our new address so we had no idea it was cancelled. Apparently there was no flagging of this by Quincy or Murphy and they did not work with us for a solution and don't seem to have a process in place to avoid this type of situation. What are we paying you for? Isn't there a system to flag policies on the verge of cancellation? I'm sure we are not the only ones who have changed addresses. Now we have to pay an extra $1000 this year due to the lapse. I'm questioning if the bank ever received notification and I'm going to check with them. Extremely poor customer se
