High rates and negligent customer service. I had a home policy and a hard time getting anyone to get back to me. When they did, I oftentimes got false information, even on important matters. When I shopped around, the very first company quoted me a rate of about $500 year less with a lower premium. After switching, Country was supposed to send me a check for unused service. They mailed it to the service address instead of the address I requested, proving once again that this company can't be trusted to do even the easiest, most basic tasks.

This company has the worst customer service! I contacted the claim department and spoke to a Doug Adams, he was so Rude, disrespectful and sarcastic. I pay over $2000.00 a year for home insurance, if I want to ask why I have two claim that I thought was only ONE incident, that’s my prerogative and that’s Doug’s job to answer. I ask him a manager, I asked for the person over his manager and he refused to transfer me. He keep saying I’m going to disconnect the call now! I told him a was going to file a complaint and a dispute, his reply was GO FOR IT.. please beware!! They file claims for everything, I called in to see if my neighbors fallen tree that landed in my yard was covered, it was a question! It’s shows as a claim! my next stop is the BBB
