Customer Reviews
After reading some of these reviews I was starting to worry a little about my pending application. So I e-mailed the CPF and asked how my application was doing. I must say that I received a call, not an email, within 15 mins letting me know my status. That is damn well good enough for me. THANK YOU !
Their staff is highly unprofessional, rude, and insensitive. I am a level headed person who works in customer service. I could never imagine having the attitude they have, especially towards people who have lost loved ones. My call was incredibly unproductive as I couldn't even finish a sentence or ask without being rudely being interrupted with assumptions.
My father died over two years ago. I have had to send them the same papers over and over and I continue to get requests for the same paperwork. I have never had a phone call returned and I've left around 20 messages. I have spoken with the guy twice when he's called me out of the blue to request information I've already given him such as addresses of my siblings. I moved, I called to try and change my address, they said it had to be in writing. I mailed it in called and made sure they got it, they even repeated it back to me and they still mail things to the old address. I honestly have given up on ever getting what my dad had in there.
These people have been just awful. My son died Feb 24, 2023, and in six months, they have not returned phone calls or in any way moved the case to closure. There should be a law against holding a person's settlement and just ignoring them. My grandson is the beneficiary, all documents are in, and they just sit there. Update: After a letter to the CEO, my son's money was finally released to his beneficiary, my grandson. The CEO/prescient made a personal phone call to my grandson and resolved all issues. So I am thankful for the end result, so much time and effort should not be needed to get what is yours.
This place is great and really know how to treat their pensioners. They are extremely knowledgeable and patient. Covid had changed a lot of things, and everyone had to pack their patience. However, Central Pension Fund gets two thumbs up for me.
