Customer since 2018 with a homeowner’s insurance plan. Despite my best efforts, have never once reached or spoken to an office principal in that entire time. Lackluster recall and customer service, and impossible to contact above all. I filed a viable claim with Erie Insurance for a burst pipe in December 2022, which I am still attempting to reconcile, with no guidance or assistance from this agency. At every turn, Casper has failed to advocate for me, instructing me at one point to defer to Erie’s adjuster, all the while knowing almost nothing about me, my policy and associated rights, or my prior attempts at communication. I have had Casper Agency/Erie Insurance for decades for home, auto and commercial purposes. So have other members of my family. The services they provide are first-rate, with competent, informed and thoughtful advice. Their rates are very competitive and beat the offers I receive in the mail. Very customer service oriented with a talented, friendly staff too. It is so nice to deal with an agency that is without the trappings of the “big office” where no one knows who you are. It is a pleasure to have them on my team.

Jim just spent a lot of time putting some new policies into place for our family. He's a really good insurance agent and worked hard for us.

I have been a customer with Erie for 20 years. When I call the office they have always been friendly and responsive. We were in an accident in our Van and the only rental Erie would provide is a compact. The said that its written into the policy, I argued that they write the policy and why would I want that if I have a van I obviously need the room. They would not budge, they said that I had to pay the difference. I upgraded my coverage but I was not expecting this kind of resistance for a long time customer. Enterprise rental came through and upgraded me for free, I use them once every 2 years maybe and they took better care of me then Erie did. I will start looking around a bit for another provider. Its a shame that all those years I am paying into the policy that I did not need

I been with Casper insurance if I would guess about 40 years at least and have had nothing but excellent service with them. I have my homeowners, auto, when I had boats I had Erie, I have my life insurance with them also. I could go on and on but let’s say their the best for customer service, the associates reply in a timely manner to any issues I need answers on.
