If you are smart, you will not do any business with Brown and Brown, whether it is commercial or individual. Find a broker who answers the phone and knows business. I could not reach them for weeks. By the time someone return my call, they are clueless as to how my policy works. Their agents come and go on monthly bases. Very unstable business and no management. They will not give you a Florida local number to their location but only an 800 #. Disastrous, none existing , not knowledgable agents. Two to four years in business and clueless. I have homeowner insured and wanted to insure a piece of jewelry. The first question was not the value of the jewelry but my DOB. The agent was getting a quote on line not by collecting relevant information and calling back with a quote from

Brown and Brown are responsive to customer needs. Sometimes it's a little difficult to contact staff.
