Billy Swails - State Farm Insurance Agent

I cannot recommend State Farm Insurance or the Billy Swails agency for the following reasons; *They are expensive *They are inconsistent. They sent me good news of my premiums being less expensive then billed me for an additional $60 in the middle of the 6-month coverage I had already paid for and then renewed me at an increase. *I called in a couple weeks early to cancel my homeowner's insurance policy with them and Jim or Jeff or whoever I spoke with informed me I would not be receiving a refund because "that's not how insurance works". Then, he verified allowing the policy to lapse would leave us financially even so I said fine, let's do that. Two months later, I received a bill for $77 for the policy. Adding a new truck policy was so easy. The agent I worked with, Shauna, was very knowledgeable and provided valuable information that helped me immensely. All the team I have worked with at Billy Swales are excellent.

I can't speak highly enough of Mary Caroline and the incredible support she has provided me and my family. I don't leave reviews often but this is a special case. Without going into details our policy was cancelled without prior notice.I'm not upset about them trying to drop us, we've been looking for a better insurance provider for a while now. I am, however, disappointed by the lack of communication from Billy Swails team. One email with a 30day notice, that they're legally obligated to provide us with is all I could ask for. Instead we hear about it from our lender, three days before cancellation date. Not to mention we spoke with Mary Caroline lady several times and she not once mentioned the upcoming changes, until I asked about it. State Farm couldn't care less about me or you.
