The service through Benefit Advocates is absolutely incredible. I have been blown away. Wendi Roberson single-handedly saved me over $3,000!!!! I had a procedure done that I thought would cost $1,800 (estimate from the hospital), but after the procedure I received over $3,000 in bills. I reached out to Wendi just to confirm that everything had been billed correctly, and she contacted my health insurance provider. Sure enough, they had coded things incorrectly and I was not supposed to be responsible for ANY of the charges. The bills were re-processed and I did not have to pay anything!! An absolute miracle. Wendi Roberson has went above and beyond trying to help me and my wife recoup money that was coded wrong on a bloodwork issue. I had an extremely long process of trying to get Highmark to pay for an approved procedure that occurred in Nov. 2021 and my first bill was submitted to me in March 2024. Cindy Lineberry at Benefit Advocates went above and beyond to resolve this issue for me. It took many phone calls, emails, etc. and eventually we had to send an appeal which resolved the issue and Highmark is paying the claim that should have been completed back in 2021.
