Very disappointed with this company. I have been with the Barnstable for years & have never had a claim. Bought a rental property last year & ended up having our agent write the property with the Massachusetts Fair plan. I have 1 primary home with the Barnstable and 3 rentals + an umbrella policy. I sold my primary home in September and moved to my rental as my primary. I was paying $1800 dollars for coverage, the day after we moved into the house the coverage went up to $3400, then $3700 with a $5000 dollar deductible. The policy is renewing for almost $4400 this year. Outrageous. Looking at the declaration page there's so much with this policy that's not for the consumer, but protects the company. I've spent approx. $70K with the company with insurance premiums and not one claim. Super
