Banner Life Insurance Company

Extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service and care. After 15 years with this company I am now looking for a new life insurance policy. I tired to set up online payments but after being on hold for 20 + minuets the customer service agent told me its not doable. Then I suggested I look else where and he said ok. No care what so ever, but they would care if they didn't receive my payment each month. I know we have options out there so I would suggest finding another company that will actual care about its customers.

Was sent a letter in the mail, they made it seem like they could offer coverage despite someone's issues. Lady I spoke to took over an hour of my time. She told me I would for sure get quotes. Lied to me, got a denial letter quoting "mental disorder" despite their advertising claiming they essentially will cover everyone. Bad business model.

Almost 20 yr. policy holder seeing customer support steadily evaporate. Took > week and multiple calls to pay premium, due to their "systems down," >20 min. wait times, and fancy "virtual agent" that couldn't understand basic policy data. Insurance is the ultimate high-touch people business, however this company clearly wants increasingly less to do with its paying customers.

Beware of this place. They claim they have low rates for life insurance and things look good. But the communication is horrible. I was declined and never found out why. Tried emailing them and never got a response. Took weeks to hear from them once the start of process. They were asking questions about things that should of came from doctor. I am now worried my medical records could be at risk with this company.i would not recommend to any one

***UPDATE** Even after Banner replied on both this review and a comment left on Facebook, NO ONE has reached out and this issue remains unresolved. I keep receiving someone's policy information to my home address. I have a called numerous times to get this cleared up. Apparently a First and Last name, middle initial and FULL mailing address isn't sufficient to look up a customer. This has been going on for 3 yrs. I keep writing Bad Address, Return to Sender and Not at this Address on the envelope and popping them back in the mail. Obviously the mail room at your offices aren't correcting the problem on your side. What else should I do to get this resolved?
