I cancelled the insurance but they are still taking payment out of my account. They don't respond to emails and the wait time on the phone went from 20 minutes and at 20 minutes jumped to 90 minutes! This is not customer service; it is customer abuse. Sadly, once I reach someone, the agents are lovely and professional. Av med just needs to hire many, many more.

Trying to make monthly payment since February, was not possible online or phone. Waiting time 2 to 3 hours by phone to receive information that agents cannot process the payment, system by phone is not recognizing my account, doing login is not possible to make the payment and web is in error and blocked access. Is terrible, there is not customer service support. If I send a check what is the warranty that they will process the payment correctly ?? It is not acceptable that kind of service in this country

This is possibly the WORST health insurance company. For over $3,000 a month for three adults, I have had the worst experience, and would have likely done better to have had no insurance at all. I can not fathom that the people who work for the company are as inept as they have been, so I am guessing that AvMed's business model is designed to stall you, the consumer, so that it is very difficult to actually access the care you need, i.e. scripts, MD visits, labs, etc., and it is equally difficult for the MD who they intentionally drown in miscommunications and unnecessary authorizations, until you and/or the MD become so exhausted that you give up. Well, it is actually so infuriating that I will follow up with the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation. I would have awarded zero stars here

horrible first impression. letter with my member info never arrived, have spent days on the phone only to get disconnected after over 30 min waits. I can't pay my premium. The online link takes you to an error page, the automated phone system opens with contradictory info. nobody can get me my member ID, so I cannot pay, it will go into delinquency and I cannot schedule psych doc appts. until my insurance is paid and active. their service is seeming like a total joke,they are incapable of helping you if you have any sort of issue.

online system is on fire. the company expects me to juggle 3 different logins and none of them work. i’m just trying to pay my premium. it’s currently impossible to setup autopay. the app sucks. when i click the link to go pay my premium to takes me to a page that just says LOGGING YOU OUT. then another page tells me to go yet another site with another login JUST TO PAY FOR THE FIRST MONTH THEN I WILL BE EMAILED MY CREDENTIALS FOR FUTURE MONTHS???????? what? i’m fairly computer savvy and i can’t figure this out. now im on the phone trying to get an agent and wait times are over 2 hours. thank you, avmed. thank for just an unmitigated disastrous start to the new year.
