I have used Avemco as a private aircraft owner for 35 years. I have never made a claim. Otherwise the experience has been very good. Human beings that seem to know about airplanes answer the phone and answer questions. Avemco has been reasonable about tailoring my policy to changes. I will stay an Avemco customer.

The best thing I can say about Avemco is they started in 1961 and I believe that I have been with them since 1962. Outstanding service and very helpful. In all that time, I have had personal and commercial policies and a few claims and their service couldn't have been better. The very best people and company to deal with no matter what the circumstance.

I have been with Avemco for several years and I am very pleased with the treatment they have consistently given me over that time. I am elderly and still able to secure both liability and hull coverage through them at reasonable rates. As you would expect I do have to meet a few requirements like Flight Reviews annually but that is nothing more than I would do anyway. Lawrence Minch

I was having real difficulty finding liability insurance due to my age (80) and the one company I found wanted $2564/year. Then I called Avemco and found I could get almost the same coverage for $550/year! Avemco does require me to get a BFR annually instead of bi-annually, but I feel that's a safety requirement for me as well as for them! And the application process was so easy. Obviously I hope I never have to submit a claim.
