Anchor Marne Underwriters did an excellent job for our marine insurance for ten years, handling every aspect of our boat insurance, professionally, pleasantly and efficiently. They are really great people on top of handling the business aspect!

We have had our yacht insurance through Anchor Marine for 12 years. They have always treated us well and respond to questions quickly. At one point we had a medical emergency and called them, they recommended a captain to help reposition our yacht. We had three previous boats insured through them. We always recommend them to new boat owners.

I have been with Anchor Marine since about 1998. Through all that time Sam Landback has been our agent and he has been unfailing helpful through this whole time. He even found a better underwriter for our old boat and ended up saving me a significant amount annually. And he has been a delight to work with as a person as well, as have everyone at their office. Sadly, we just sold our boat and most likely won't buy another. If I did though I would not hesitate to come back to Anchor Marine and Sam to find a new underwriter. Many thanks to Sam and the rest of the crew at Anchor Marine for so many years of great service and help.

We just started with Anchor Marine this summer. Great, knowledgeable service! I frequent Trawler Forum, and when our last insurance agent retired, the person who took over for him had terrible, basically non-existent follow through. I went to the forum and asked one of the members who is an unbiased insurance expert there who he would recommend. He pointed us toward Anchor Marine. He also let us know that the insurance we had the previous 5 years, while relatively affordable, did not have very good claim reviews. Dan Kauffman at Anchor explained in detail (that I was able to understand) the difference between our old boat insurance and a new policy through Geico. So we signed up.
