Allstate Insurance: West Hills Insurance Agency

So i had called in to cancel my policy after switching to geico since all state was just too expensive. The women I had spoken with told me she would cancel it upon my request. Come to find two weeks later after not receiving my money back, the women never actually canceled my policy like she said she had. And they would only give me half my money back since two weeks had past. Don't trust these people, they only care about getting your money and will scam you to get it. I saved $200 dollars with geico, go there instead.

Support is nonexistent, requests for quotes for expanding or adding to our policy have gone unanswered and unacknowledged, and we generally just hope we never actually need to file a claim while we have this insurer. They were supposed to be the best in the area and have left me disappointed.

Signed me up for National General as a new driver with the promise of a cheaper rate at 6 months. 6 months later get told it will NOT be cheaper, and I have to wait until the 1 year mark for a nice price drop. Okay, patience right? But nah, it literally GOT MORE EXPENSIVE AT 1 YEAR! I got zero decent explanation. How does that even happen to a new driver with a spotless driving record? Miserable experience. I’m cancelling and switching to Geico, if this office will ever pick up their phone again… Edit: I spoke to Hannah just now at this office (my usual agent is Bill) and she was very helpful and apologetic, actually finding a way very quickly to lower my rate. I will still be leaving on principle as this was all very unacceptable to me. Bill, if you ever read this I think you are kind

Switching to Allstate with the agent from Westhills was easy and we felt that we were given fair and honest service. Communication through emails to keep us updated on any changes has been efficient and easy to use along with using the app. Up to this point we have been very satisfied.

GO ANYWHERE BUT ALLSTATE!!! Six months ago I bought a new truck and fell for thier story about how much easier and cheaper it was. What a joke, they regularly change thier rates, automatically sign you up for things, and mess up paperwork at your expense. After dropping them they still charged my account more then 100 dollars more then my insurance payment was due. I've probably paid 400 more than agreed upon and the reasoning given to me was that "the guy set up your policy messed up, but don't worry he's bot with the company anymore. Oh but we cant fix his problems" And trying to get a real person on the phone is impossible!!
