Full payment for my policy was required when the policy became effective. A month later it was cancelled because of an inspection of the roof. I had a roofer inspect the roof, and he advised me the roof was in excellent condition and had 7-10 years remaining life. I provided this information, but they would not reinstate the policy. I have been informed by access that I will not get a refund for at least 14 days.

Access Home went Bankrupt! I received payment for Hurricane Ida Damages, But it was made out to a company that we dropped back in 2017. They called and said that they are sending new checks in 7 -10 days. 3 weeks later when I called to find out when they checks are coming. I was told that Access Home insurance went Bankrupt and I will receive nothing! They already were paid for next years coverage also.

I filed a claim for Hurricane Ida. They paid promptly what I thought was fair. Now they are claiming half my settlement was sent in error and they are working to find best way to resolve this issue. In meantime, they’ve gone bankrupt and LIGA has taken over. For a week I’ve fought panic attacks caught in a loop between my mortgage company that escrowed my settlement, Access’s adjusters, and LIGA who keeps referring me back to Apple adjusters.

This is by far the worst experience ever dealing with Access Insurance. A tree fell on my house October 9, 2020 resulting in water damage to my kitchen. Immediately filed a claim & within 3 days Allied emergency rescue stripped the kitchen (insulation, Sheetrock, etc). They did a very good job. From there is where the nightmare started. 6 weeks later someone from Allied showed to look at the roof after numerous phones calls. He said that he would start the following week. Now on 7 weeks. The tarp finally failed during a storm & more water gushed in my house. Filed another claim & no one has even called me for emergency rescue to at least put up a new tarp. The worst part is I hurt my knee on the roof trying to stop the water from going in my home. This company is the WORST! If

They wait until a hurricane comes to come check out roofs and threaten to drop you off not fixed. They just want the $2200 deductible even though hurricane had nothing to do with the small amount of damage to room. Scam. Do NOT recommend.
