AAA Portsmouth Insurance and Member Services

I needed to get an international driving permit and was fortunate to be close to Portsmouth today. I had an amazing experience… Walked in, was greeted and attended to quickly. A very friendly and engaging staff member helped me with the requirements, reminded me that my benefits of being a AAA member included travel support, and the necessary photos... and I was out in less than 10 minutes. Having been a AAA member for almost 30 years, and never having stepped foot inside of a physical AAA office, I was most impressed.

When you leave a one star review about your tow truck experience, you're leaving your review in the wrong place. This AAA office doesn't seem to have any tow trucks. What they do offer is fantastic service and a great product. I just stopped in to get an international drivers permit. Ben was very welcoming and helpful. I got my pictures taken and was on my way in less than 10 minutes with my license. Thank you!

Hit a deer on the road at 1am; completely wrecked the car. They said they would have a tow truck out to us by 2:15. We wait a half hour and they call back just to tell us they now have no one coming to get us. Why give us an ETA before you even have a driver??? They made us call the cops, who brought us a tower who took our car to a lot and then dumped us at a nearby hotel they SAID was dog friendly - but wasn't - so we are now stranded outside on a concrete bench. I called AAA back and they refused to send someone to bring us back to our car and tow it home, even though it's only 10 mins from the hotel and we are well within the 100 mile limit. They also suggested I go BACK into the hotel they just rejected us at, and this time, try to SNEAK the dog in. As if they would magically forget I
