AAA - Mount Pleasant

I did not go to the location in Mt Pleasant but the one in Summerville on Main aint no better. They RIP people off BIG time. I regret so much taking my car at that location. I am out over $300 for what? Diagnostic only!!! I learned the hard way but my God will fix it!!!! Want to charge me nearly $3000 for repairs! that they still didn’t know would fix the leaks. Told me I would have to bring my car back for additional testing/cost after the repairs to see if it still leaks. SMH real hard😩 I picked up car so fast ! I would avoid any AAA locations. They WILL OVERCHARGE you!!! GO ELSEWHERE!!!!!!!!

Came to get coil, wire, and plug replaced for a cylinder. Went to Advanced Auto Parts before to ask for cost of parts and they told me $90 total for those 3 for my make and model. Came to AAA to get them replaced and they told me parts alone would cost $800. When I asked where they will get the parts from they said Advanced Auto Parts. Nearly 800% mark up for 3 parts. Considering AAA get a discount on buying parts too that’s ridiculous.

I took my car here recently to get a 4 wheel alignment and tires installed and was initially quite pleased with the service. Shortly after and upon further inspection, I noticed that one of my new rims had been damaged. I brought it back over to them and they denied any wrongdoing. The rims were brand new and didn't have a scratch on them when I took the car in. I washed the car prior to dropping it off, and hand dried the entire vehicle as I always do, including the rims. The only way it could have been damaged this way was during install when the tire was off of the vehicle. I asked him if he could see any possible way that they could have been damaged otherwise, he couldn't answer my question. It would be like getting a gash on your head, wearing a helmet. Avoid AAA in Mount Pleasant.

Spent $2,000 on service work last Wednesday. They called that it was “ready” to return to the shop to pick it up with front end shaking, engine light on and tire pressure light on. I leave it there and ask them to fix it. I come back to it on Friday for the manager to indirectly tell me on my way out that I’ll be having to bring it back because they dented and scratched my truck while it was there. No apology, no offer to discount services, nothing. I couldn’t believe it. They did nothing to make this right. The only reason I’d ever go back is solely to deal with this damage. So disappointing. Absolute nightmare and will now have to get estimates for their claim and be without a truck again. Do NOT recommend this place.

Took my car here in January because I was having trouble cranking it. They gave me a list of repairs totaling almost $2,000 that I had done, but they did not fix the problem. I had to take it back a few weeks later. They told me it was the alternator. Charged me another $650 for that. Got home and found it was still not cranking and now, in addition, it also was shimmying and not shifting properly. Took it back in and they kept it for three weeks, promising they’d call, but never did. I had to go in the first week to check on my car, then call each week after, after not hearing from them. Picked my car up today and it actually sounds worse. Still not shifting properly, still having problems cranking, still shimmying when idling…and now, lurches when driving. Huge mistake going here.
