AAA La Quinta Insurance and Member Services

Registered my out of state car when we moved to La Quinta, amazing service, knowledgeable and friendly and efficient Be sure to get car smogged prior, no matter how old / new the car is

As a member I use this facility twice both times were very disturbing nerve-racking and unsuccessful. The first time I inquired about insurance I didn’t buy what they were trying to sell me a year later I got a collection agency for $1000 for insurance that I didn’t pay for AAA that I never had they finally fixed, but apparently the agent wanted to get his commission second time. I tried to registered my car waited over an hour. They told me that the paperwork wasn’t right and I had to get it fixed went to the motor vehicle department directly after and they handled it promptly don’t waste your time. They don’t know what they’re doing and it’s evident by everybody else in line and what they’re dealing with total sham.

I have been a AAA member in Michigan for over 60 years lived the service, the service at this branch has been terrible, I only wish there was a zero star rating. I thought I bought insurance and weeks later after non returned phone calls and emails, I get a list of things I need to do in order to be insured….terrible service and they are concerned about their insurance company not their clients

Just went to renew my car registration and waited one hour and a half only to make the payment and have to come back the next Saturday to collect the tags. Arrived the next Saturday and was told there was a 20 minute wait to pick up the tags. The 20 minute wait turned into a 45 minute wait and then had to deal with a very rude associate who then said it was their policy to keep my registration from the prior year. And he would not return my registration which belong to me. Overall, I think I’m going to start going back to DMV, the one in Palm Desert is so much nicer than the AAA in LaQuinta. Bye-bye AAA start hiring more associates who are friendlier and lower your wait times or you are going to continue to lose customers.

We came to this branch to deal with both car insurance as well as homeowner insurance policy needs and questions. We were promptly and greeted with a big smile from both receptionists and quickly checked in and advised where to wait for our service advisor. Because it was quite busy (we were there around lunch time) the lady who checked us in did give us updates a few times as to where we were on the waitlist but surprisingly we were seen within 10 minutes of first arriving. Our advisor came out to get us from waiting area and like his other colleagues was kind kind and cheerful. He quickly figured out what the issue was with our 2 policies and was able to make corrections. We were back in our cars in under 25 minutes with all of our questions and concerns dealt with.
